Multivariate Analysis of Variance Test for Gene Set Analysis (MAVT-GSA)

Overview

MAVT-GSA is an R package for the Gene Set (Enrichment) Analysis using a multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) test. MAVT-GSA is used to perform an analysis to determine whether some functionally predefined sets of genes express differently under different experimental conditions. MAVT-GSA allows for the analysis of two or more experimental conditions. MAVT-GSA uses a shrinkage covariance matrix to incorporate the correlations structure among the genes in the test statistic and to account for the singularity and ill-condition of the sample covariance matrix.
